Bio.
Beverly is an artist and designer from Hong Kong, based in The Hague, Netherlands. She works in various realms in art and design, she combines works with animation, digital media, sound and performance to tell stories.
Her multimedia work focuses on social and global topics, exploring nature by using our multi-sensory. Beverly uses humour to drive her storytelling and her audience experience the emotion about her homeland, with a nostalgic aesthetic and vibrant colours.
Artistic Statement.
My belief is that my role is to create and share positive messages, with the hope to make a beneficial impact on society through storytelling. Most of my work is bridging digital and physical tools, to communicate my ideas visually using multimedia and interactive with the audience.
In my work, I create a space to express my feelings of constrained emotion through my lens of animation with nostalgia and colourful aesthetics. My wish for the viewer is that they are prompted to question the boundaries of these issues and why we have these barriers in society.
